By day, it transforms into a serene escape, with only a handful of yachts anchored nearby. Beyond the beach lies the captivating Dalyan Delta, a treasure trove for explorers featuring ancient Lycian tombs and the ruins of the historic city of Kaunos. For those seeking adventure, Ekincik Bay offers a variety of exciting water sports. Additionally, a brisk walk along the western banks of the Delta presents an opportunity to encounter wild boars foraging in their natural habitat, adding a touch of wilderness to your experience.

Day 3 - Tersane Island / Cleopatra Island / Kızıl Island

Tersane Ä°sland

Tersane Island, also known as Shipyard Island, is the largest island in the Gulf of Fethiye. This island features a remarkable bay with a 100-meter deep channel that once served the Ottoman navy, lending to its name. The bay is dotted with numerous coves, while the eastern side hosts the Summer Harbor. The western part of the bay sees less activity due to strong winds that persist throughout much of the year. Nearby, you can explore the ancient ruins of Telandria, making it an excellent spot to stretch your legs and immerse yourself in history.

Cleopatra Island

Imagine a picturesque bay surrounded by lush pine trees, ancient ruins, and crystal-clear, calm waters—what more could you ask for? Cleopatra’s Baths Bay is an essential stop along Turkey’s stunning Turquoise Coast in the Mediterranean. According to legend, Mark Antony gifted these baths to Cleopatra as a wedding present, choosing this beautiful location not just for its mesmerizing turquoise waters but also for the presence of a natural hot spring believed to have therapeutic benefits for the skin. The serene ambiance, combined with the historical significance of the site, creates a magical atmosphere that invites visitors to relax and soak in the beauty of their surroundings. Whether you’re exploring the ruins or simply enjoying a swim in the inviting waters, this bay offers a unique blend of history and natural wonder that you won’t want to miss.

 Kızıl Island

Kizil Island is truly enchanting at sunset. Its name means "red," reflecting the island’s distinctive reddish soil. However, it's during sunset that the magic truly happens—the rocks and stones ignite in a brilliant crimson hue, creating a breathtaking backdrop for photography. The island itself is uninhabited, except for a lighthouse perched on its southern tip. To the northwest lie the Deliktas Isles, which are perfect for anchoring, swimming, and fishing, making them another fantastic spot to explore in this stunning area.

Day 4 - Fethiye

Day 6 - Sarsala Bay

Day 7 - Bedri Rahmi (Tasyaka) Bay/Aga Port /Star Island (Nimara)

Bedri Rahmi Bay

Bedri Rahmi Bay, named after the renowned Turkish author and painter Bedri Rahmi Eyuboglu, is a stunning natural haven with a rich history. Formerly known as Dark Bay since Lycian times, this picturesque spot became closely associated with Eyuboglu, who often visited to fish in its tranquil waters. During one memorable fishing trip in 1973, he left his mark by drawing a fish on a prominent rock at the entrance of the bay, which has since been dubbed “Fish Rock.” This artistic contribution not only transformed the rock into a local landmark but also inspired the name for the entire area.

The bay itself is remarkably sheltered, making it an ideal anchorage where the winds rarely intrude. The vibrant colors of Bedri Rahmi Bay are breathtaking, with the clear azure waters beautifully contrasting against the lush greenery of the hillside. Towering pine trees, gnarled olive trees, and vibrant oleanders create a stunning backdrop, enhancing the area’s natural beauty. On clear days, the sky above radiates a brilliant cyan, further amplifying the bay's picturesque landscape.

Visitors to Bedri Rahmi Bay can enjoy a variety of activities, from swimming in the crystal-clear waters to exploring the surrounding hills and enjoying the rich flora. The peaceful ambiance, combined with its historical significance and stunning scenery, makes Bedri Rahmi Bay a must-visit destination for those exploring the Turkish coast.

Nestled within the Gulf of Fethiye are the twin bays of Aga Limani, a perfect haven for sailors and nature lovers alike. These picturesque bays offer an idyllic setting for anchoring, swimming, fishing, and simply soaking up the sun. The waters here are refreshingly cool, thanks to an underwater freshwater spring that flows down from the nearby mountains, making it a delightful escape from the heat.

The seawater is remarkably clear, providing an inviting environment for swimming and exploring the vibrant marine life beneath the surface. If you’re looking to venture inland, a scenic one-hour walk will lead you to the ancient city of Lyda. This route is not only accessible but also exceptionally beautiful, with lush landscapes and captivating views along the way.

Once you arrive in Lyda, you’ll encounter a treasure trove of archaeological wonders that speak to the region’s rich history. Whether you choose to relax by the water or embark on an adventure to discover ancient ruins, Aga Limani promises a memorable experience filled with natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Yildız is one of those rare places where you can easily lose track of time, with endless opportunities for swimming and snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters.

Among its many features, there’s a unique bay area known as “the wrong channel.” This intriguing name comes from its resemblance to a channel at night, and it has caught many sailors off guard, leading them into its rocky depths.
