Göcek - Fethiye - Göcek

Day 1 - Göcek – Kızıl Island

Arrive in Göcek and spend the afternoon exploring this charming coastal town before boarding your gulet. There is time for leisurely shopping and local attractions, and a chance to talk to your chef about any dishes you would like on the voyage.

Later, sail to Kızıl Island, uninhabited apart from a lighthouse on its southern tip. Its name means "red", and at sunset the rocks glow a brilliant crimson, a striking backdrop for photos. To the northwest lie the Deliktaş Isles, good for anchoring, swimming and fishing. Dinner is served on board.

Day 2 - Gemiler Island – Butterfly Valley – Ölüdeniz

Gemiler Island, just off the Fethiye coast, is known for its ancient ruins, including remnants of Byzantine churches and an old harbour. Hiking trails cross the island, and its secluded beaches suit swimming and sunbathing.

Butterfly Valley, near Ölüdeniz, has steep cliffs, crystal-clear water and a rich population of butterflies, including a rare species. It is reached by boat or a challenging hike. Continue to Ölüdeniz, with its blue lagoon, soft white sand and mountain backdrop, a famous beach that is also known for paragliding.

Day 3 - Turunç Pınarı – Samanlık Bay – Fethiye

Turunç Pınarı is a tranquil spot near Fethiye, known for its lush greenery and fragrant citrus trees. The crystal-clear water invites a refreshing swim, while the surrounding hills offer wide views of the Mediterranean.

Samanlık Bay lies a short distance from Fethiye. It is less crowded than many beaches, with rugged cliffs and water in many shades of blue. Finish the day in Fethiye, where Lycian rock tombs date back to the 4th century BC and the remains of a Roman theatre can be seen.

Day 4 - Tersane Island – Domuz Island – Göbün Bay

Tersane Island, near Göcek, was once home to ancient shipyards, and old ruins recall its seafaring traditions. Scenic trails, a quiet atmosphere and a beach make it a relaxed stop.

Domuz Island lies just off the Fethiye coast. Its name means "pig" in Turkish, and its rocky landscapes and clear water suit hiking and exploring hidden coves. Göbün Bay, near Göcek, is surrounded by greenery and rugged cliffs and is relatively secluded.

Day 5 - Yavansu Bay – Cleopatra's Bath – Sarsala Bay

Yavansu Bay, near Fethiye, has turquoise water, gentle green hills and a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds.

Cleopatra's Bath is a bay near Göcek where the partly submerged ruins of ancient baths lie in calm, crystal-clear water. According to legend, Mark Antony gave these baths to Cleopatra as a wedding gift, and a spring here is said to benefit the skin.

Sarsala Bay is a favourite with yachtsmen for swimming and overnight anchoring. A lush valley winds inland, ideal for nature walks, while the mostly stony beach calls for suitable footwear.

Day 6 - Bedri Rahmi Bay – Kille Bükü

Bedri Rahmi Bay, also called Taşyaka, was known as Dark Bay in Lycian times. It takes its name from the author and painter Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, who drew a fish on a rock at the entrance during a 1973 fishing trip. That rock is now called Fish Rock. The bay is very sheltered, and pine, olive and oleander frame the clear azure water.

Kille Bükü, near Fethiye, is a secluded cove with soft sand and gentle waves, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Reached mainly by boat, it offers a tranquil escape from the more crowded beaches.

Day 7 - Boynuzbükü Bay – Yassıca Islands

Boynuzbükü Bay, near Göcek, is known for its serene atmosphere, steep green cliffs and crystal-clear water. It is a popular stop for yachts and gulets.

The Yassıca Islands, in the Gulf of Fethiye, are uninhabited and ideal for swimming, exploring and leisurely sailing. Family-friendly water sports are available, the beaches are stony, and some islands are close enough to swim between. Stay for sunset.

Day 8 - Göcek

After breakfast, leave the boat by 10:00. The tour ends in Göcek, where memories of ancient ruins, sunny beaches and quiet bays go home with you.
