Day 1 - Fethiye – Gemiler Island

After arriving in Fethiye, spend the afternoon exploring this charming coastal town before boarding your gulet. There is time for leisurely shopping and local sights. Talk with your chef about special dishes you would like on the voyage. Dinner is served onboard, moored in the marina or a bay, marking your first night in the Mediterranean.

Gemiler Island, just off the coast of Fethiye, is steeped in history. Its ancient ruins include remnants of Byzantine churches and an old harbour. Hiking trails offer panoramic views of the turquoise sea, and secluded beaches are perfect for a swim.

Day 2 - Ölüdeniz – Tersane Island

Ölüdeniz is often hailed as one of Turkey's most beautiful beaches, with a stunning blue lagoon and striking mountain backdrop. Its soft white sand and crystal-clear water suit sunbathing and swimming, and paragliding offers thrilling views of the coast.

Tersane Island, near the town of Göcek, is steeped in maritime heritage. Once home to ancient shipyards, it has old ruins that tell stories of seafaring traditions. Scenic trails, a serene setting and a quiet beach make it a relaxed stop.

Day 3 - Domuz Island – Göbün Bay – Yavansu Bay

Domuz Island, just off the coast of Fethiye, is a secluded spot with stunning rocky landscapes and crystal-clear water. Its name means "pig" in Turkish. Its untouched beauty offers hiking and hidden coves to discover.

Göbün Bay is a hidden gem near Göcek, surrounded by lush greenery and rugged cliffs. It is relatively secluded, ideal for those seeking tranquillity away from crowded beaches.

Yavansu Bay, near Fethiye, is picturesque and tranquil, with stunning turquoise waters and gentle hills. Away from the crowds, it is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered.

Day 4 - Cleopatra's Bath – Sarsala Bay

Cleopatra's Bath is a bay near Göcek where the partly submerged ruins of ancient baths lie in calm, crystal-clear water. According to legend, Mark Antony gave these baths to Cleopatra as a wedding present. A spring here is said to benefit the skin, and the historic site adds to the magical atmosphere.

Sarsala Bay is a favourite among yachtsmen. It offers good swimming and a tranquil setting for overnight anchoring. A lush valley winds through dense forest, inviting nature walks. The beach is mostly stony, so bring suitable footwear.

Day 5 - Bedri Rahmi Bay (Taşyaka) – Kille Bükü

Bedri Rahmi Bay (Taşyaka) is named after the Turkish author and painter Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, who often came to fish in its tranquil waters. Known as Dark Bay in Lycian times, it gained its modern identity when he drew a fish on a prominent rock at the entrance in 1973, now called Fish Rock. The bay is very sheltered, where the winds rarely reach, and is framed by pines, olive trees and oleanders.

Kille Bükü is a secluded cove near Fethiye, with soft sand and gentle waves. Accessible mainly by boat, it offers a calm escape from busier beaches, ideal for swimming and sunbathing.

Day 6 - Hacıhalil (Olive) Island – Kızıl Island

Hacıhalil (Olive) Island is covered in olive trees, hence the name. It is privately owned and supports a local olive press industry that has operated since Ottoman times. Its rugged beauty and ruins whisper tales of the past, surrounded by clear water and lush vegetation.

Kızıl Island is truly enchanting at sunset. Its name means "red", reflecting its reddish soil, and the rocks ignite in a crimson glow. The island is uninhabited except for a lighthouse on its southern tip. To the northwest lie the Deliktaş Isles, perfect for anchoring, swimming and fishing.

Day 7 - Turunç Pınarı – Samanlık Bay

Turunç Pınarı Cove is one of Fethiye's most beautiful spots, with fresh air and lush greenery. Named after the orange trees in the area, it is somewhat secluded and usually reached by sea. A hike to its summit leads to ancient Lycian tombs and ruins.

Samanlık Bay, a short distance from Fethiye, is a serene cove with crystal-clear water in many shades of blue. Less crowded than many beaches, it suits those seeking tranquillity.

Day 8 - Fethiye

You leave the boat by 10:00 after breakfast, and the route ends in Fethiye. The bays, ruins and swims of the week will stay with you, and Fethiye's charm will linger. Until the next voyage, wishing you a safe journey home.
