Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

These terms apply to private yacht and gulet charters and cabin cruises booked through De Yatçılık Turizm San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“De Yachting”, TURSAB licence no. 17781). Where your written offer or charter contract states different terms, the terms in that document apply.

2. Booking and confirmation

Availability, price, dates, embarkation port and inclusions are confirmed in a written offer. Your booking is confirmed once you accept the offer and the deposit reaches our account; we then send a written confirmation.

3. Payment schedule

• Private charter (whole yacht): 50% of the charter fee is due as a deposit at booking and the remaining 50% no later than 30 days before embarkation. For bookings made less than 30 days before embarkation, the full amount is due at booking.
• Cabin cruise: 50% of the cruise price is due at booking and the balance no later than 60 days before departure. For bookings made less than 60 days before departure, the full amount is due at booking.
• Items your offer lists as not included (fuel, port fees, food and drinks, APA, crew gratuity, etc.) are paid separately.

4. Payment methods and currency

You can pay by bank transfer, or by credit or debit card through a secure payment link sent to you personally. Card payments are made on the bank’s 3D Secure payment page; De Yachting never sees or stores your card details. Payment is taken in the currency stated in the offer or payment link (EUR, USD, GBP or TRY). Any currency conversion or foreign transaction fees charged by your card issuer are borne by the cardholder.

5. Cancellation by the guest

Cancellations must be sent in writing to info@deyachting.net. Charges are based on the date we receive your notice.

Private charter:

• More than 60 days before embarkation: the deposit (50%) is retained; any amount paid above the deposit is refunded.
• 60 days or less before embarkation: the full charter fee is charged.

Cabin cruise:

• More than 60 days before departure: 30% of the cruise price is charged.
• 59 to 31 days before departure: 50% of the cruise price is charged.
• 30 days or less before departure, or no-show: 100% of the cruise price is charged.

If the cancelled dates are re-booked on the same terms, amounts received may be refunded less costs incurred. No refund is given for late arrival or for leaving the trip early.

6. Changes to dates or guests

Changes to dates or the number of guests depend on availability and are valid only once we confirm them in writing. Any price difference is charged or refunded. A change request does not create a right to cancel; if a changed booking is cancelled, the original booking date applies.

7. Cancellation by De Yachting, weather and force majeure

• If we cancel your booking for a reason on our side, you receive a full refund of the amounts paid or, if you accept, an equivalent yacht or date.
• For safety, the captain may change the route and sailing times according to weather and sea conditions; a route change is not a reason for a refund.
• If the service cannot take place because of force majeure, such as a harbour master’s sailing ban, natural disaster, epidemic, war or official decisions, we offer a new date or a credit for future use; where neither is possible, amounts not yet spent are refunded.

8. Refunds

Approved refunds are initiated within 14 days. Card payments are refunded to the same card and bank transfers to the IBAN you provide, in the currency in which the payment was made. How long a refund takes to appear on your card depends on your bank. We are not responsible for transfer fees or exchange differences applied by banks.

9. Insurance

We recommend travel insurance that includes cancellation cover.
