About Derin Deniz
Derin Deniz is a 28-metre traditional gulet built in 2009 and refitted in 2023, chartered privately with her crew on the Turkish coast around Marmaris, and to the nearby Greek islands. She takes up to 12 guests in 6 air-conditioned cabins (2 master cabins, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins), each with its own shower and WC. A crew of 4 looks after you: the captain, a cook and deckhands.
Most of the day happens on deck. There is a cushioned aft deck with a big table for long lunches, a sun deck with mattresses under an awning and a deck shower for after a swim. For active days she carries a canoe, a paddle board, snorkelling gear and fishing gear.
In 2027 Derin Deniz costs €2,500 a day in May and October, €2,750 in June and September and €3,000 in July and August. With 12 guests that works out at about €208 to €250 per person per day. Two master cabins make her an easy fit for couples travelling together.
Similar 6-cabin gulets in our fleet include Prenses Esila (32 m, from €2,500 a day) and Prenses Bugce (31 m, from €2,500 a day). All three start at €2,500 a day.
Booking in May or October instead of July or August saves about 17% on the daily rate.
Where will you sleep?
6 cabins for up to 12 guests. The crew of 4 has its own quarters.
