About Tarkan 5
Tarkan 5 is a 36-metre traditional gulet built in 2009 and refitted in 2024, chartered privately with her crew on the Turkish coast around Marmaris, Fethiye, Göcek and Bodrum, and to the nearby Greek islands. She takes up to 18 guests in 8 air-conditioned cabins (6 double cabins and 2 triple cabins), each with its own shower and WC. A crew of 5 looks after you: the captain, a cook and deckhands.
Most of the day happens on deck. There is a cushioned aft deck with a big table for long lunches, a sun deck with mattresses under an awning, a jacuzzi and a deck shower for after a swim. For active days she carries water skis, a canoe, a ringo, snorkelling gear and fishing gear.
In 2027 Tarkan 5 costs €3,500 a day in May and October, €4,500 in June and September and €6,000 in July and August. With 18 guests that works out at about €194 to €333 per person per day.
Similar 8-cabin gulets in our fleet include Kaptan Mehmet Buğra (39 m, from €3,600 a day) and S.Nur Taylan (35 m, from €4,000 a day). Tarkan 5 has the lowest starting price of the three.
Her starting price is about 40% above the typical (median) price of the 29 8-cabin gulets in our fleet (€2,500 a day). She is one of 34 gulets in our fleet of 229 with a jacuzzi on board. Booking in May or October instead of July or August saves about 42% on the daily rate.
